Founder & Lead Coach

Stuart has been skiing since the age of 4, and began his teaching career at 16. Initially he started training and working at his local dry slope in Hemel Hempstead, and within only a few years had embarked on his decision to develop his qualifications further.
Since 2006 Stuart has specialised as a race coach and holds the ‘International Ski Teacher Diploma’ and ‘Alpine Performance Coach Level 2’.
In addition, he qualified in 2005 as a Snowsports Scotland ‘ASSI Tutor’ and has since been delivering ASSI courses throughout the UK. Stuart has also progressed from being BASI L1 trainer (able to deliver Level 1 courses in the UK) to becoming a full Alpine Trainer in November 2014.
In 2017 Stuart started to suffer with chronic back pain, so embarked on his journey of personal development, which consists of working on many aspects of his life, health, fitness, nutrition and mindset. Seeing the benefits of this in his personal life and how this links to ski coaching he now blends his mindset and ski coaching knowledge to help his skiers realise their full potential!
Due to family reasons he is now based in the UK through out the year and spends 6-8 weeks in Tignes, France. He continues to develop and deliver many of Ski Focus’ all mountain, piste performance courses and NEW in 2023 bespoke coaching programs (6-12 months in duration).
Ski Coach

Charlie’s passion for the mountains sprung to life in 2005 when she spent a season in Tremblant, Canada, and first qualified as an instructor with the Canadian Ski Instructors Association (CSIA).
Since then, she has retrained with the British Association of Snowsports Instructors (BASI) and has achieved her ISIA Alpine and Adaptive qualifications, become a BASI Trainer for the Adaptive discipline, and is now nearing completion of her ISTD Alpine.
Since 2008, when she first qualified with BASI, Charlie has gained a wealth of experience teaching skiers with a wide range of abilities and disabilities.
Charlie is able to adapt to any learner’s needs and loves that ‘Eureka moment’ when someone new to the sport falls in love with skiing, or when an experienced skier has a breakthrough.
