Personal performance training with Ski Focus is about learning key skills on terrain that you are comfortable with, perfecting these and then implementing the use of this new technique on the terrain where you will need it.

No matter what level of skier you are there are three things that you do to the ski to make the ski turn. These are the ability to tilt the ski on the edge, apply or control the pressure and rotate the ski.

The majority of skiers do not vary these skills when necessary (e.g. in deeper snow or steeper slopes), leading to inefficient ski technique and additional fatigue. A skillful skier will be able to vary the amount and the speed that they use these skills, resulting in effortless-looking skiing and economical performance. Our private coaching sessions and week-long courses will help you refine these skills and enable you to ski the whole mountain skillfully and successfully.

These courses are ideal for individuals looking to perfect and improve their technique, or for groups of friends and families wishing to learn together.

We have found that clients who achieve the best results are those who ski with us on a regular basis. Maintaining frequent training enables a constant progression and development of technique, building on the skills learned from one session to the next. This means that there is a constant and gradual learning curve, enabling good long-term development. Each course includes the following:

  • 1 to 5 days of coaching depending on location and course type
  • 3 to 6 hours of coaching a day (France)
  • 3 to 5 hours of coaching a day (UK)
  • Lift pass (UK day courses only)
  • Video analysis during your course with a personalised video available to download
  • Action Plan (online action plan available with multiple bookings)
