Booking Confirmation & Payment Schedules

  1. Full payment is required to be made at the time of booking.
  2. Payment must be made by bank transfer. Ski Focus is unable to accept credit/debit card payments.
  3. As payments are non-refundable, Ski Focus advises that travel insurance must be taken out prior to making the full payment.
  4. Places are issued on a first-come first-serve basis providing all payments are received on time.

Prices

  1. Quotes provided by Ski Focus are valid for seven days from the date of issue.
  2. Ski Focus reserve the right to alter prices of training courses without notice.
  3. If a course fee becomes discounted, there is no refund for those already booked. Likewise, those who have already booked shall not be charged for any increase to the course fee.

Cancellation Policy

  1. If you wish to cancel a course or leave prematurely, all course fees/invoices are non-refundable. All insurance should cover such circumstances and it is your responsibility to make sure your policy provides appropriate cover in the event of cancellation.
  2. Cancellation must be submitted in writing to Ski Focus.
  3. Ski Focus reserves the right to cancel any event up to 24 hours prior to its commencement without additional liability. In this case you will be offered an alternative arrangement or accept reimbursement of course fees.
  4. No refund will be payable if Ski Focus is forced to cancel the course due to circumstances which could not have been foreseen or avoided even if all due care had been exercised, including but not limited to war, threat of war, civil unrest or insurrection, strike, lockout or other industrial action, act of terrorism, act of God, fire, flood or other adverse weather conditions.

Complaints

  1. If you wish to make a complaint during a course you should inform Ski Focus as soon as possible whereby Ski Focus will investigate any complaints and try to resolve them. If the matter cannot be resolved satisfactorily during the course, you must write to our office within 28 days of the end of your course.
  2. Ski Focus will only deal with correspondence from the person on the course or, for minors, his/her parent or legal guardian.

Medical Conditions

  1. It is a condition of the course that you must inform Ski Focus of any pre-existing medical conditions. If at any time during the course your medical condition should change it is your responsibility to inform Ski Focus.

Client Behaviour

  1. Ski Focus clients are not allowed to use or be in possession of any unlawful properties. Should any such properties be found on any client, or in their belongings, Ski Focus reserves the right to immediately exclude them from the course and is not responsible for their repatriation and all costs thereof.
  2. Ski Focus reserves the right to refuse to allow any person to participate in any activity at any time prior to or during a course if, in Ski Focus’ opinions, the person in not compatible with the general enjoyment or well-being of others.

COVID-19

  1. COVID-19 additional terms and conditions will apply to all resort bookings scheduled to happen between 1st November 2021 and 31st May 2022
  2. Where you are unable to attend your booking as a result of FCDO advice due to COVID-19, please contact us at stuart@skifocus.co.uk.  We may be able to offer you one of the following options, providing you fit the criteria and that the options are appropriate for you.

    a. Booking Transfer: Postpone or transfer your booking for up to 12 months from the date of your original booking, when you have notified us that you are unable to attend your booking.

    b. Booking Refund    : Where you have paid for your booking in full, we may provide you with a refund of your booking value (excluding any incurred processing fees e.g. bank or Paypal charges), if up to 48 hours before your first lesson date you notify us that:
    1. the French or British governments, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, close their borders or introduce measures which prevent you or Ski Focus from attending your lesson; or
    2. you or a member of your group become ill with COVID-19 and are therefore unable to attend your booking (in such circumstances you must also provide official documentation/medical certificate confirming your diagnosis).

Please note that in no event will a refund be issued due to a change of mind from yourself, or a member of your group.
